Hello, I joined this site a few years ago and I love it. I remember when it was just a rinky dink video sharing site. Now it's turned into a Myspace for gearheads and some pretty hot chics too. Props to the Streetfire Team for how they have transformed this site. I am a converted GM guy who sold his '88 IROC for a '93 LX 5.0 notchback. I was hooked after that. Two weeks after graduating from FSU (GO NOLES!!) and moving home to So FL, my '93 was stolen from my parents house. The cops found it two weeks later, stripped to the bone and set on fire. I started searching for a new Mustang and found her, a black 1995 Cobra. I made the '95 Cobras that much rarer by totalling my '95 while getting off the highway a wee bit too fast. For my next 'stang, I chose to hunt down a '98 Cobra. No power problems and a live axle! In October of '99 I found her waiting for me in South Carolina with 1900 miles on her! A true '98 build being born 06-18-1998, she was stock except for flowmasters. For the first five years the car was mostly stock, but since then I have a done a lot of mods(check out My Rides Section for details). In 2005, I started getting Shelby Fever and I ordered a 2007 GT500 in late '05. She was to be black with tungsten stripes. Due to various reasons, I backed out, and seeing as how you can get an '09 now for at or below sticker, I am very happy I went with my gut. I then began to search for what I felt was and is the best value for the buck, the '03-'04 TERMINATOR. In June of 2006, I found her just outside of Raleigh, NC sitting on a small Ford Dealer's lot with only 323 on the odo. The TERMINATOR has remained stock. For now my '98 is satifying my mods fix but I know the Terminator is a way better platform and once I start I won't be able to stop. For now, she's home and I only have 2963 on the odo. I know some people feel that it is a waste to have a car sit like that, but I guess it's just that I've always wanted that mint car that's never been rained on, etc. Anyway, thanks for reading!
