people say those cherokees are pretty dang good to start with,been wanting to get a beater for fun,getting to old for dirtbikes but not the thrills

I went up a near vertical hill an F150 trying not to scream like a little girl, but the pics made it look like our little Liberty could do it effortlessly. Hi! Sadly I must say, not so good. I'ts winter here and I don't have an garage (have done almost all my mods in my muddy yard) so I'm qiute pissed of about the weather. Can't seem to find any inspiration of going uot there in the cold working on my truck. I've removed the transfercase and swapped it's incomming axel so that it will fit the manual transmission and painted all "new" parts so that the will shine at least one tim under the car :) I've also welded myself an transmission lift but that's about it. Now I just need to find the motivation to remove the transmission so that I can start mounting tha manual transmission and stuff. Does'nt sound so good about that lock right, it should release wheels when rolling while cornering. Otherwise it should be engaged as soon as you touch the throttle. Are you sure you've installed it correctly? Hope you get it to work! /Nutti
