2000 Chrsyler Concorde, 40k miles, 10k worth of audio/video I had a nice system before but decided to take it out...To up the audio i took out the backseat and put in a half wall with an SPL box that cut through from the backseat into the trunk its constructed with double 3/4 MDF bringing the box thickness two 1 1/2 inch...reinforced every 8 inchs on the inside to reduce box flex...the slot port is designed for low bass and tuned to 35 Hz and is roughly 10' tall by 3' wide and fitted with steel elbow brackets due to the port collapsing previously at a car show ...I am running 2/ 15' Memphis Mojos 2 Ohm DVC...powering them is 2/ 2000 watt Pioneer Premier SPL amps...the top view your looking at a 380.4 JL audio amp that powers my JL C2 components as well as the double tweeter pods...we took the original single tweeter pod cover and cut two matching holes to fit the tweeters and covered the mesh gril with fiberglass and bondo, sanded it done, primered and matte blacked it and they came out perfectly...crazy side note the driver side is slightly smaller then the passenger side but iw very noticeable when sitting next to each other...they are a perfect application...only downside is they have a 380 amp current draw...so naturally i had to replace the stock alternator to a 300 amp custom built one... I still am running the 7' fold out Pioneer...however that will be taken out very soon once we get done cutting into the dash to accomadate the Clarion double din...it will recquire us to refiberglass a new bezel...still have the 9' headrest screens and a 17' fold down...the fold down is taking a pretty major beating from the system...sooo in hindsight shouldnt have spent the money to destroy a nice fold down...ooo well it looks nice i will update more as its still being worked on...including paint job and bagged...the steering wheel is being fiberglassed to accomadate a 7' Pioneer Avice F500Bt GPS ALL WORK DONE BY STEVE FALEY @ QAULITY AUTO PERFORMANCE CENTER IN COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO....FOR MORE INFO CONTACT ME
