Once you've had 8, you'll never go 4!
I'm 29 years old, married with a 3 year old boy. I love to race my car when I can and I'm gettin' better at it all the time. My ride is a 1993 Mustang GT hatchback. It has about 125,000 miles on the chassis, but only about 11,000 on the new motor. Its a stock 70's block(stronger then newer blocks) converted to a roller cam and bored .030 over to fit a 306 Ford Racing crank, Probe forged pistons, h-beam rods, Milodon 7qt racing oil pan and windage tray, and a Ford Racing x-303 cam and lifters. On the top end, there's Trick Flow twisted wedge heads w/ Ford Racing 1.6 roller rockers and Trick Flow street upper/lower intake with a Paxton SN-89 supercharger w/ upgraded impeller pushing 5-6lbs of boost, BBK 70mm throttle body, 190lph in-tank fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator w/ liquid filled pressure gauge, Ford Racing 24lb injectors w/ Cobra 70mm MAF, Professional Products EGR spacer, Cobra EECIV and TwEECer chip tuned by my buddy Kelly(and John from the Horsepower Ranch), Ford Racing A/C delete and a Blue Oval Industries smog pump delete, Ford Racing aluminum radiator and Goodyear hoses. For ignition and electrical I've got an MSD billet distributor, Ford Racing 9mm wires, Crane Cams HI-6 digital ignition box and coil, Optima red top battery mounted in the trunk in an NHRA approved box, 3g 140 amp alternator, -2 gauge power wire, battery cut-off switch mounted behind passenger side taillight, Pioneer motorized face cd/mp3 player w/ iPod connection, Pioneer 5 1/4" fronts w/ 3" domes in the dash and 5x7" rears, Monster Cable ground and power fuse blocks, Alpine subwoofer and mid-range amplifiers, and a Soundstream Exact 12" subwoofer in homemade ported box. The exhaust system consists of BBK equal length short tube headers, Flowtech cat-less x-pipe and a Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back(have dumps after muffler for the track), all of which are full mandrel bent 2.5". The chassis has Ford Racing springs, KYB gas-a-just shocks, struts and kickers, Maximum Motorsports sub-frame connectors, MAC knock-off upper/lower control arms, and Energy Suspension motor and tranny mounts. The drivetrain is mostly stock w/ a RAM billet steel flywheel, Spec stage 1 clutch, BBK aluminum quadrant and adjustable cable, stock T-5 tranny w/ a B&M short throw shifter, stock driveline, stock u-joints, Summit driveshaft safety loop, 8.8 rearend out of a Thunderbird turbo coupe w/ disc brakes, limited slip posi, and 3.73 gears, and a B&M line lock for the burnout box. 17x9 cobra rims murdered out with Cooper Cobra tires for the street and stock Ford 10 hole rims front and Summit Alumistar w/ Mickey Thompson drag radials on the rear for the track. I have full stock interior with an Autometer Phantom 2 1/16 air/fuel and boost gauge on the a-pilar and an Autometer gauge pod on the dash w/ Phantom tach and shiftlight, water temp and oil pressure gauges. The exterior is basically stock w/ a fiberglass Stormin' Normin' knock-off 2.5" cowl hood rattle canned black. I have put down 375hp and 375ft/lbs of torque. Haven't got the car dyno'd since impeller upgrade but guesstimating a little over 400 to the wheels. Just ran it down the track for a best 12.3@112mph spinning the M/T drag radials off the line.
